Montesino Law was built around a simple idea: construction businesses deserve attorneys who understand how the real world works. Construction disputes are rarely just about legal theory. They affect payroll, reputations, project timelines, and the livelihoods of the people who physically build our communities.

Armando A. Montesino, founder of Montesino Law, and Christian P. Struven IV, Lead Construction Litigation Counsel, bring complementary backgrounds and perspectives to construction litigation, lien disputes, payment conflicts, contract negotiation, and complex construction claims throughout Florida.

Armando Montesino is fluent in four languages: English, Spanish, Construction, and Business. Before becoming an attorney, he spent nearly a decade as an accountant and financial analyst for large publicly traded companies. Long before that, he worked as a tile installer’s assistant mixing thin-set, painting houses, and installing insulation. His business and construction background allowed him to see the disconnect that often exists between legal training and the realities contractors face every day.

Christian Struven, Lead Construction Litigation Counsel at Montesino Law, combines deep legal knowledge with relentless advocacy and a genuine passion for protecting workers, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers. Inspired by his grandfather, a Northern Illinois ironworker who worked tirelessly to provide for his family, Christian understands that construction professionals put a piece of themselves into every project they complete. His Catholic faith continues to drive his commitment to ensuring people are paid for the work they perform.

Together, they approach construction disputes with practical experience, intellectual rigor, and an understanding that every case has real-world consequences for the people involved. The firm represents contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and businesses in matters involving construction liens, payment disputes, construction defects, contract disputes, bond claims, and complex litigation throughout Florida.
